Privacy Policy
How we collect, use and protect your personal information when you visit this website, create an account or give toward our work.
Last updated: October 27, 2026
1. Introduction
Perfect Edifiers Foundation ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information of everyone who visits this website, creates an account, downloads a Resource, registers for an event or training program, subscribes to our newsletter, or gives toward our work. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:
- Account information: first and last name, email address, phone number, country, state, city, church or ministry affiliation, role, preferred language, profile photo and biography, if you create an account;
- Activity information: resources you download or bookmark, training or event registrations, and volunteer interests you submit;
- Contact and form submissions: anything you provide through our contact, newsletter, get-involved or consultation-request forms;
- Donation information: your name, contact details and donation amount/purpose, if you give through the Site; card and payment details are handled directly by our payment processor and are not stored on our own servers;
- Technical information: basic, non-identifying information such as browser type and pages visited, used only to keep the Site working correctly and secure.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and personal dashboard;
- Provide the Resources, training registrations and features you request;
- Process donations and send donation confirmations;
- Send newsletter updates, ministry stories and resource announcements, only to those who subscribe;
- Respond to messages sent through our contact and get-involved forms;
- Maintain the security of the Site and prevent misuse; and
- Improve our Resources and ministry programs based on aggregate, non-identifying usage patterns.
4. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies necessary for the Site to function — for example, to keep you signed in and to protect forms against abuse (CSRF protection). We do not use cookies to serve third-party advertising.
5. Sharing of Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with:
- Trusted service providers who help us operate the Site (such as email delivery and payment processing services), solely for that purpose;
- Our giving partner, Serving Workers for the Harvest, and our payment processor, when you make a donation, to the extent necessary to process that gift;
- Government or regulatory authorities, only where required by law.
6. Donations & Payment Information
When you give through this Site, your payment is handled by our payment processor's own secure systems. We receive confirmation of the donation (amount, currency and status) but do not receive or store your full card number. Please refer to your payment provider's own privacy notice for details of how they handle your payment data.
7. Data Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted password storage, secure sessions and access controls on our administrative systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information appropriately for the sensitivity of what we collect.
8. Your Rights & Choices
You may update or correct your account information at any time from your profile settings, unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time using the link in any newsletter email, and request that we delete your account or personal information by contacting us. We will respond to reasonable requests as soon as we are able.
9. Children's Privacy
Some of our Resources (such as Sunday School and children's materials) are designed for children to use together with a parent, teacher or guardian. Our user account system is intended for adults, church leaders, teachers and ministry workers who register on behalf of themselves or their ministry — we do not knowingly collect account information directly from young children.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or in applicable law. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised.
